# MeKat — AI Information

What MeKat teaches, how current examples work, and what must be clear before optional online AI is used.

## What happens today

MeKat teaches people to use AI thoughtfully. This website’s interactive example is prepared text running in your browser. It does not contact an AI model, send your input or record a learning result.

The current development app uses bundled lessons, local answer checks and visible self-review. A live online-feedback provider is not enabled in this configuration. Self-review and lesson completion are practice, not proof that an AI answer is correct or that a learner has demonstrated independent mastery.

## Optional online feedback

Before optional online AI feedback is made available, MeKat must identify the actual provider, the information sent, the purpose, relevant retention/training practices and your choices. A specific, current permission choice is required before sending your lesson answer. Agreeing to general terms or allowing analytics does not replace it.

Only the bounded answer and exercise context needed for the requested feedback should be processed. Passwords, access codes, payment details, private records and other people’s confidential information do not belong in a learning prompt.

You will be able to decline or withdraw optional AI processing. A failed or unavailable feedback request must not be presented as a successful grade. We do not guarantee access to an external model or promise that a particular provider will always be available.

## Keep your own judgment

AI can produce confident mistakes, biased suggestions or fabricated sources. Check consequential statements against reliable evidence and involve an appropriately qualified person when a decision affects health, money, rights, employment or safety.

Model match guidance is an educational shortlist based on the answers you choose in that session. It is not a live model benchmark or an endorsement. External providers set their own prices, minimum ages and terms. MeKat does not transmit questionnaire answers merely because you open a provider link.

## Privacy and questions

MeKat’s initial audience is age 13 and older, with higher local age or consent rules where applicable. Online-feedback access for younger children is not part of the initial release.
